New-generation tills and the end-of-day Z report

The end-of-day Z report from new-generation tills comes into Portal as the till declaration closes and sits next to ERP sales and the cashier’s declaration. Differences show up in colour on accounting’s control screen.

The Z report is the store’s daily report card. Yetkin puts it on the same desk as the ERP sales ledger and the cashier’s declaration; when all three agree, the day closes.

How it works

Step by step

  1. The day closesThe store till produces its Z report at day end.
  2. The Z report reaches PortalAs the till declaration closes, the Z report from the new-generation till (Ingenico iCiroPro) is fetched with terminal and Z number.
  3. Sources side by sideThe Z report, the day’s ERP sales, bank movements and the cashier’s declaration are compared on one line.
  4. Approval and checkAfter the store manager and area manager approve, the declaration goes to head office accounting; differences show up in colour.
What you gain

For your teams

  • Till differences surface as the declaration closes, not the next day
  • Finance follows every store’s day end on one screen
  • Every difference is kept with its reason and approver

Cashier declaration and instant till control

At day end the cashier declares cash and card totals. Portal compares the declaration with ERP sales, the Z report and bank movements; every closed declaration goes to the store manager and area manager for approval, and on to head office accounting for checking. In a multi-store cosmetics chain, a till difference is discussed the same evening, not the next morning.

Visitor reports from store people counters

People-counter data is read from your ERP and reported store by store and by time slot: total entries, raw entries and repeat visitors. If you need the data taken straight from the counter provider and passed to your ERP, we assess that connection with you during setup.

Time and attendance without extra devices

You don’t need a separate time-clock device. Employees scan the store’s QR code with their phone or tap an NFC tag; mobile staff clock in by location at a nearby store. Scans made away from the store are flagged to the manager.
